01The problem
Planning staging bases for range-limited vehicles over water was manual spreadsheet work.
02My contribution
Built the planner: a Leaflet map for placing home and staging bases, scenario and vehicle management, a land/water grid with ε-weighted A* pathfinding and path smoothing, and the multi-base plan calculation.
03Outcome
Scenarios that took a spreadsheet afternoon now compute on the map, with distances and costs per base.
