01The problem

Employees looked up HR policies, leave balances and payroll dates across disconnected tools, and sent HR the same questions again and again.

02My contribution

Built a serverless assistant in six Apps Script modules. A two-call GPT-4o-mini pipeline turns a question into search queries, then answers from live Notion policy pages; employee and leave data come live from Google Sheets; answers render as interactive Google Chat cards. Handled service-account JWT auth, merged-header column mapping and spreadsheet timezone quirks.

03Outcome

HR answers in the chat tool the company already uses, with nothing to deploy or host.
